MOTEL TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKINGS
1.1. All motel bookings are subject to availability.
1.2. A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a valid credit card or full payment.
1.3 Seasonal, corporate and long term rates available. Special conditions apply during holiday periods. Charges applicable for each extra adult/child/infant.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS
2.1. Payment for the entire stay will be charged upon check-in, unless stated otherwise.
2.2. Cancellations or modifications made within 72 hours of the check-in date (which is based on 2 PM on the day of arrival) may incur a fee equivalent to one night's stay.
2.3. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking.
2.4 A surcharge charge of 2.5% will be applied to all credit card payments made at the Motel. The surcharge applies to Visa and MasterCard (JCB, American Express and Diners Club are not accepted).
2.5 Debit EFTPOS cards do not incur the 2.5% surcharge fee.
2.6 Upon check-in, a security deposit may be required. This may be in the form of a credit card authorization, a refundable cash deposit or a debit card charge. Cheques are not accepted. The Motel reserves the right to cancel the reservation if a guest cannot comply with this policy. The Motel reserves the right to waive the bond requirement at its discretion
2.7 If any monies are not paid by the due date interest shall accrue at the rate of 12% per annum. All legal, court, collection costs and fees associated with collecting the debt shall be to the Guest’s account.
2.9 In the event of non-payment of a Company invoice, the company director/s implicitly agree to be personally liable for any outstanding debt including any debt collection costs and/or legal fees.
3.0 In the event of non-payment of an invoice associated parties of the Guest or Guest group maybe contacted as part of the debt collection process.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
3.1. Check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards.
3.2. Check-out time is not later than 10:00 AM.
3.3. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may be subject to an additional fee.
3.4 Reception hours are Monday – Friday 7.30am to 8.00pm, Saturday and Sunday and Public Holidays 8:00am to 7.00pm. Please contact Reception for late check-in procedures
OCCUPANCY
4.1. The maximum number of guests allowed per room is as stated during the booking process.
4.2. Additional charges may apply for additional guests staying in the room.
SMOKING
5.1. Guests found smoking in non-smoking areas may be charged a cleaning fee.
DAMAGES AND LIABILITY
6.1. Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay.
6.2. Motel owners or managers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to guests' property.
CODE OF CONDUCT
7.1. Guests are expected to behave in a responsible and respectful manner towards other guests, staff, and the property.
7.2. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or any illegal activities are strictly prohibited. Disruptive behavior may result in eviction.
WI-FI POLICY
8.1 Illegal activities, including but not limited to hacking, unauthorized access, distribution of copyrighted material, sharing explicit or offensive content, or engaging in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations, are strictly prohibited.
8.2 Guests are solely responsible for their online activities while using our Wi-Fi network. Please ensure that you comply with all New Zealand laws governing internet usage.
8.3 By using our WiFi network, guests agree to adhere to the Motel’s Wi-Fi policy and accept any consequences that may arise from violating these rules.
GROUP BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
9.0 Unless otherwise stated Group Quotes are valid for 60 days from the dated of the quote.
9.1 Group/team booking terms and conditions may vary from these General Terms and Conditions.
9.1 Names of all members of any Group are to be provided no later than the time of check-in.
VISITORS
10.1 Visitors are permitted at the managements discretion and should depart by 10pm. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel will be charged to the registered guest. Unauthorised use of our facilities is unacceptable. Any charges for visitors, if not paid will be the registered guests responsibility.
PETS
11.1 Pets are not permitted on the property, with the exception of registered Guide Dogs.
