Nelson has three vastly different national parks – all within ninety minutes drive of the city.
New Zealand’s favourite is the Abel Tasman National Park, with its renowned coastal tracks, remote golden beaches, the leafy shade of tracks skirting calm inlets, safe water for kayaking, or swimming with the seals.
